How's the quarantine treating you? We're chilling out over here, filling up our studio with projects which we'll deliver when we're all allowed out again. Luckily we planned ahead and bought a bunch of materials.

Sadly some of our tradesmen friends are feeling more of a pinch. As "Essential Infrastructure Operations" who maintain homes and businesses, they're still allowed to make service calls, but I've heard that their phones have mostly stopped ringing.

Like many small local businesses, they're suffering from the loss of work.

So we thought we'd do something nice for them, and for you too... and share the contact info for our favorite plumbers, electricians and so on.

This isn't a short list... in fact it's a really great list... because as many of you know, my wife Faith runs a handyman referral service on the side.

​And since she gets a lot of calls from people who really need a specialist (like a plumber or electrician) she has compiled an extensive "little black book" of tradesmen who have been recommended by customers or other service pros.

​Here are a few of them... these are the handymen in our referral network...

...but we also included the contact info for other area businesses.

Like our favorite electrician, for example, who did a great job wiring the lights on this bookcase.

And our favorite plumber in Asheville, who has done excellent work for our extended family.

So if you have a repair that just can't wait... or if you have outdoor work or other jobs that can be done at a safe social distance...
